Devotional 87: God Is Paving The Way
Isaiah 30:21 NKJV
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.
God is paving the way in this hour. He’s showing you how to navigate the season and move into your promise. More peace, more rest, and more joy as you follow him.
There are so many powerful scriptures concerning faith and following God. But Isaiah 30:21 speaks to what is possible after you say yes. After you commit to your faith journey and
proceed to follow God. There are often times of great uncertainty as you lean not into your understanding.
These moments of uncertainty require you to slow down, be intentional, and listen to that still, small voice. This is the blessing of faith. Trusting God to be the navigator in your life changes you. It gives you more peace and ushers in more time and space to create, to be present, and to praise him.
When you allow God to pave the way, fear begins to fall away and clarity becomes your companion. You may not know all that the future holds, but you know who holds your future. That makes all the difference.
Be still and know that He who promises is faithful. He knows the way. He will show you the next steps. He will pave the way around and through the roadblocks. Rest assured, no matter how dark the path, God’s not finished yet.
